“Holy Moly! There Goes Jim!!”
Story Behind the Name
Executive Producer Boy, Jim is our poster-child for getting in situations where he should be a lot more damaged than he is. In Muskegon, his luge slammed into the wall. He claims he was nearing 80 MPH. The Luge staff say it was closer to 14 MPH. Jim said they’re going to agree to disagree on that point. In Copper Harbor, Jim’s mountain bike dopped 10 feet off the side of a bike trail. He was carrying a camera and audio equipment. Jim, the camera and the audio equipment (AND THE BIKE) were unscathed. We want to test Jim’s level of luck and jump out of an airplane next summer.
Keweenaw Peninsula
On this episode of Under the Radar, we’re back in the Michigan’s incredible upper peninsula for a natural spring that’s so cool … it’s almost unnatural. We’ll also see the night sky like you’ve never seen it before, and take a leap of faith right into the refreshingly freezing waters of Lake Superior. And, if that’s not enough … we’ll also do some extreme mountain biking in Copper Harbor, and show you the stairway to heavenly jams and jellies. It’s all right here in Michigan’s UP … and right here on Under the Radar.
