SEASONAL ACTIVITY.

Remember when your mom used to say to ya … “If your friends all went and jumped off a cliff … would you jump too?” Well, I finally figures out the right response … HECK YA !!

And that’s exactly what people of all ages do here in Marquette at the tip of Presque Isle Park. The cliffs are called Black Rocks and they’re an incredible formation of black granite cliffs that raise 20 feet above the crystal clear … and frighteningly freezing waters of Lake Superior. Taking the plunge off these cliffs in a right of passage for tons of Northern Michigan University students. It’s also a yearly tradition for a lot of the locals … and, something my crew challenged me to do … hu-boy!
