Next Scott took us to a sweet place he knew we’d love, and he was right! The Sweet Tooth Candy Shop is owned by Todd May. He’s a seventh generation townie who loved sweets and wanted to bring an old fashioned neighborhood candy store back to Marine City.
This place is total old school. You walk in, grab a bag and fill up on all your favorites from the past, present and even future. There are hard-to-find classic and retro candies, all your current favorites and even a few unconventional new twists, like dark chocolate covered bacon. Even though my brain said no, no, no, I tried some and my taste buds said yes, yes and yes.
Todd loves candy, loves this community and is bringing a sweet bit of nostalgia back to Marine City. If you’re walking down Water Street and the mood for a mound of chocolate hits, don’t say you don’t know where to go.
