The Lakeside Inn was an incredible find. It’s a beautiful, rustic inn that’s been there since the 1880s, and it’s an absolute landmark in this area. The interior is classic hunting lodge, with great spaces to catch up on your reading or just take a nap. You can even rock your cares away out on their classic, one-hundred-foot-long front porch.
Another great thing about the Lakeside Inn is right across the street they have a beautiful path through the woods that takes you down to a secluded, private beach on Lake Michigan. The beach really made me feel like I was someplace special. Oh, that’s right, I am. I’m in Michigan!
