Next we went to an incredible bed and breakfast called The Heather House, and it’s a must see to believe. I’ve stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts in my life, but this one takes both the cake and the ice cream. Heather Bokram and her husband Bill own and operate this incredible place, and I don’t think I’ve ever met people more genuine or charming. I felt more sophisticated and well mannered just being around them. Wonderful people!
Even though this 1885 Queen Anne style home is absolutely huge, it still feels quaint, comfortable and cozy. It’s full of little nooks and crannies where you can tuck in, tune out and get lost in a good book. Some people have been there a dozen times and say they still discover things they never noticed before.
If you’re a true bed and breakfast lover, you will love the Heather House. If you do go, could you please grab my glasses for me? I left them in a nook… or was it a cranny? Doh!
