You know when we were up in Marquette a while back we happened into this place for a bite to eat. Well, the food was so good I quickly proclaimed we’d feature them on the show. Well, that was 5 years ago … not so quick … but better late than never !!!
Yea … it took us a while … but boy was it worth it, because here at Das Steinhaus every dish is authentically German and prepared with a creative flare foodies are pretty fond of. Everything you’ll taste at The Steinhaus is prepared by people who love food, love drink, and love where they live. And if that isn’t UTR, I don’t know what is.
Justin Fairbanks and Dave Cappaert are two confessed food aficionados who decided to do what they do best right here at home … and the folks here in Marquette are mighty happy they did.
Everything we sampled that night was savory and sensational. And their popular potent potables helped put a smile to all of our full and happy faces. And speaking of happy faces …
So, if casual fine dining with a German flare is for you, stroll into The Steinhaus in downtown Marquette … I guarantee … it won’t take ‘you’ five years to come back. Mmmm Schnitzel.
