If you’re fond of the old expression, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” you’ll totally love the next place we found. It’s called Riverstone Gallery, and not only do they feature incredible, one-of-a-kind local art, photography and jewelry, they also have some very unique vintage recycled treasures. They actually make jewelry, clocks and even little robots out of used computers, radios and cell phone parts. Very fun, original and cool!
Since 1980 owner and artist Greg Steele has been turning discarded “stuff” into stuff you just gotta have. My two favorite pieces were actual working clocks made out of an old Zenith radio dial and an old Brownie Camera. It takes a very talented and inventive eye to create these cool collectables, and Greg’s got two of them. If you’re looking for the unexpected, expect to see some awesome stuff at Riverstone.
