The Komodo Kitchen is what they call a pop-up restaurant and it features the incredible tastes of Indonesia. Now, the great thing about this concept is you never know where they’ll be next. And if you’re lucky enough to get in, it’s an experience you won’t soon forget.
This cool culinary collaboration is the brainchild of April Boyle, Deanne Iovan and Gina Onyx. It’s an experiment they started a few years back, and they’ve combined their talents and taste buds to create a unique wandering supper club.
They find an available (often empty) space and transform it into a fully decorated dining experience that serves an array of Indonesian delicacies. I couldn’t even begin to pronounce some of the wonderfully aromatic foods I devoured, but I would love to enjoy them again and again and again. It’s always wonderful to discover new taste sensations, and these exotic creations were just that… sensational.
Another cool thing about this unique dining experience is that you get to meet other interesting and adventurous people who really appreciate great food. I don’t know how interesting I am, but I am interested in finding out where Komodo Kitchen will be next.
