If you like staying right in town, but you don’t like giving up all the comforts of home, do what the UTR crew does: just drop your bags off at the Kalamazoo House Bed & Breakfast. It’s a fully restored Victorian home, built in 1878, that has incredible hospitality, and every room is completely unique. It was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at in a long time. Come to think of it, this place has a lot more comforts than my home. I gotta work on that!
Owners Terry and Laurel Parrott have made this place a destination for people who want outstanding accommodations, and they are two of the nicest and sincerest people you will ever meet. Their knowledge of the home’s history is incredible and the food they serve is outstanding. A good measure of how nice a place is, is by how many people you tell about it. I have to say that everyone I know now knows about the Kalamazoo House.
