Story Behind the Name
When we saw what Victor Ax and Tool does to old Axes and hand tools, it was an easy leap to mention one of my favorite movies: So I Married An Ax Murdered. Victor Tools UN-Murders tools and make them cool…so he’s the opposite of an Ax Murder. It’s a long way to go for a show title. But you have a closer look inside by brain now.
Harsens Island
Harsen’s Island … I’ve heard about it … seen pictures of it … know people who’ve been there … but, now … it’s my turn.
The islanders call it paradice … and if you’re a fan of boating, fishing, or just a laid back island lifestyle … that’s exactly what Harsens Island is. It’s 19 square miles of beautiful waterways … historic homes … and comfy cottages. Only about 2000 peoole live here year round … but in the summer, thousands more come to open their cottages … open cold beverages … and escape the provebial rat race. It really is the island life … Michigan style.
Grand Rapids
I say this a lot … but, I’m gonna say it again … Have you been to Grand Rapids lately … in fact … have you been to Grand Rapids at all ??? Well, if you haven’t … spend a day here … and if you don’t love it … well … I’ll come to your house and make you pancakes … but, if you don’t like Grand Rapids …. No syrup.
Grand Rapids continues to be one of our favorite places to visit on UTR. If you like a city that’s alive with great food, culture, sports, education and innovation … Grand Rapids is a place you just might want to live. It’s a big city that’s kept that small town sence of place … and it’s attracting young people from across the country to help move it forward. It’s a city on the move … and in all the right directions.
