Story Behind the Name
As season three wrapped up with our expanded season length that took us from thirteen shows to twenty-three, we were actually amazed at how much more work ten more shows created. We like to work hard… but this was a tiny bit insane.
Tips of the Fingers
One place in Michigan where I’d never really spent a lot of time was the area at the top of the mitten we like to call “the tips of the fingers.” So with provisions packed, we headed north to Michigan’s index finger in search of a great place to stay and a good hot meal. And, since this is Michigan, we had no problem finding both.
I don’t remember the last time I breathed air this clean or stared at the lake for so long. This really was a great way to end our “tips of the fingers” adventure. We relaxed on Lake Huron, ate like Italians, flew like birds, dined with a ghost, caught a good crepe and wandered the wilderness. After all that, I give the top of Michigan’s mitten a definite high five!
