That term made us laugh the first time we heard it at Lon Von Speedcult’s studio. It made us scared when we saw what these rides were.
Northville
If you’re a half hour from Detroit, fifteen minutes from Ann Arbor, five minutes from a farm and only two minutes from Italy, where are you? Simple. You’re in Northville, Michigan. Read on and you’ll see what I mean.
I’d heard all about how beautiful Northville was but was still blown away when we got to town. I’m tellin’ you, spend an hour there and you just might want to spend a lifetime. The downtown is really comfortable, with great shops, cool spaces and great places to eat.
Downriver
Well, you know me, I’m usually up a creek without a paddle. But, this time, I went downriver with a camera crew… bonus! The Downriver area in Southeast Michigan is a collection of cities and towns that are south of Detroit along the western shores of the Detroit River, and we have a blast every time we’re there. This time, as soon as we got there, we were hungry—a seemingly perpetual state for us—so we went in search of chow. Now, if you want a good TV dinner, you can go to a number of grocery stores downriver. But if you want a great TV diner, we found just the place.
So if you’re looking for a wild man to custom cut some metal for you, Len Puch will hook you up, spin you around and make it happen. And if you’re looking for some tamer wildlife to enjoy or a TV diner to tune into, Downriver is a great place to be.
