Episode 320: Great Lakes Bay Region

“I’ll Be Doggone…”

Story Behind the Name
1) We were at the Frankenmuth Dog Olympics. 2) It’s a Marvin Gaye song. I’ll always look for a song title or lyric when it fits.

Great Lakes Bay Region

If you’re looking for a part of Michigan to spend some time in, it’s time you looked at The Great Lakes Bay Region, because every time we go there, we have a great time! The Great Lakes Bay Region is the cities, towns and neighborhoods that make up the eastern part of Michigan’s palm, right at the base of Saginaw Bay.

We’ve been to this part of Michigan a lot on UTR, and for a lot of really good reasons. From the classic, historic cities with their amazing architecture to the beautiful homes and neighborhoods that surround them, this area truly has a sense of place that just makes sense. And if you’re in need of green space to help connect you back to Planet Earth and make you feel whole again, you couldn’t land your spaceship in a better spot.
