“He’s Regular Size”
Story Behind the Name
A common joke when Tom is telling a story. For example: “Eric’s a HUGE fan of corn nuts. Actually he’s regular size.” We groan and laugh and slap our foreheads.
Charlevoix
Charlevoix really is one of the most beautiful towns in Michigan. On one side you’ve got Round Lake and passage to Lake Charlevoix and on the other side is Lake Michigan. So if you’re into boating or the beach life, it’s absolute heaven. Charlevoix also offers great places to live and vacation, and the town has this comfortable sophistication about it that says, “Hey, I’m in the right place.” It’s a small yet iconic Michigan vacation town that really leaves you with a big impression.
Charlevoix was just recently named one of the prettiest towns in America by Forbes, and there’s one man who’s done a lot to make that happen. Now, I’d heard of Mister Rogers, Mr. Ed and even Mister Potato Head. But Mr. Petunia?
After we parted ways with Mr. Petunia, we thought we were having problems with one of the microphones. Turns out it was actually my stomach growling, so we set out to find some substantial sustenance.
And if you get a chance, check out a sunset or two in Charlevoix. By the time you leave, I guarantee you won’t want to.
Detroit
There’s so much developing and happening in Detroit right now that every time you turn around there’s another reason to go there. You can feel the change in attitude and energy. So if you’ve got a spirit for adventure and discovery, right now the Motor City is a great place to be.
As you probably know, I’ve got quite a reputation for being a trouble shooter, danger seeker and a pretty good third-rate investigative reporter. So when I heard there were supposedly no grocery stores in Detroit, I decided to do some digging. After thoroughly interrogating Jim and Eric (they’re genuine foodies) I discovered a place in Southwest Detroit that I fell in love with in three… two… one… guacamole!
You’ll also need a lot of words to tell your friends about all the cool stuff happening in Detroit right now. Because there’s so much going on there that… well, I just don’t have enough words.
