You know the renaissance of Detroit is happening so fast now and in so many different ways, it’s hard not to bump into something new every time you’re here. Well we bumped into something that’s so cool, we bounced right back to bring it to you. No thanks required … it’s what we do.
The El Moore is a monument to what brings a sense of place to this community. It’s a beautifully and creatively restored building that offers apartments, boutique hotel rooms and the only privately owned public park in the city. That’s pretty darn cool by the way.
They even built funky, cool, contemporary rentable cabins on the roof that have ridiculously awesome and practically panoramic views of the city. A must see to believe.
The attention to detail and historic preservation in this place is crazy good … and to make sure ‘I’ got all the details, I spent some time with the man who had the vision and the plan … Tom Brennan.
If you want to experience Detroit’s past and it’s future all at the same time, and have a great time doing it, check out the El Moore in Midtown. Well, you should probably check ‘in’ first. Then the rest, relaxation, fun and exploration are all up to you !!!
