The day was a blast, and the entire crew got to reel in a fish, including my son Anthony. We caught three huge king salmon and two magnificent steelhead. The coolest surprise of the day was that Captain Drew has a special arrangement with a great restaurant right on the water called Dockers Fish House. So we docked, gave the chef two of our catch and he prepared a gourmet meal that totally blew us away. Actually, when we were done, a hurricane couldn’t have blown us away; we were so full. But having your own catch prepared and served like that really brought the whole trip full circle and made it an exceptional Michigan experience.
