They took their original, historic city hall and turned it into a super cool space where Dearborn … can get creative.
At City Hall Artspace Lofts the main mission is to create, affordable housing for artists and their families so they can do their thing. And their thing is to bring culture and economy to this great community.
From the outside not much has changed. But once we stepped inside, Mike Bewick from the DDA showed me the incredible transformation.
Now, if you’re wondering how the actual artists feel about this “outside the box” and “inside the old city hall” thing … fear not, because I actually talked to some.
Building renovation and re-use stories always do my heart good…and when you add a creative twist like their doing here at the City Hall Artspace Lofts … it paints a beautiful picture for Dearborn.
