You know … I’ve been to Boyne Mountain many times to ski in the winter. But, I’ve never been invited to golf here. Hmmm maybe they’ve see me play.
Actually, no matter what your level of golf goodness, Boyne has you covered. They’ve got more cool courses than you can shake a caddy at and the shear beauty of the area will take your breath away. If you died and went to golf heaven … this is exactly what you’d expect it to look like.
We decided to hit the links at Boyne Mountain’s Alpine and Monument courses. It’s a great place to start because they’ve got something here for everyone, and club pro Casey Powers made sure that included us.
Well it was time to tee it up UTR style and with our round well under way Jim, Eric and Casey continued to play the way you would expect seasoned swingers to swing….. and I continued to make my mediocre mark on Michigan golf.
Well, in spite of my bountiful bogeys we had an absolutely awesome day at Boyne. And Casey Powers gave me the courage and plentiful pointers to carry on. Boyne really is a family friendly destination that attracts golfers from around the world.
