You know … Michigan golf is so great, a lot of people feel the need to shout it from the treetops … personally. I’d just rather just go to Treetops and play a round. It’s a lot more fun too.

We started with the famed par 3 course “ThreeTops” with vistas that would wow even a mountain goat and as always, Jim and Eric were golfing gooder than great….me on the other hand, well I wasn’t fairing so well. I ended up getting delayed for a bit and wound up playing alone in the uh, well, “sand box” as it were.
It’s no wonder that Treetops Resort attracts links lovers from all over…We ran into golfers from as far away as Utah and Colorado in the first ten minutes, when suddenly, and without warning, it happened… I had a little trouble seeing the fairway for the trees…
Well, how I shot a 137 on a par 3 only you, me and the gopher will ever know. It’ll be our little secret. But suffice it to say, Treetops was a day of great golf I’ll never forget. My score maybe … but the day … no way.
