Story Behind the Name
When we were filming up at the Legs Inn, the owners had a friend there who owned a Ferarri. When you’re offered a ride in a Ferrari, you take it. When you can work it into your TV show, you do it. That car cost more than most of our houses and it handles better. As Ferris Bueller said, “If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.”
Chelsea
Chelsea is one of those towns that, whether you live there or not, when you get there, you’re home. It’s small town America done right, with just the right amount of great people, places and things to do. If you don’t like it in Chelsea… well, you just ain’t right!
If you’re looking for a new go-to restaurant to go to, go to the Common Grill. You won’t be disappointed. And if you’re going to go to Chelsea, just remember, if you lived there, you’d be home by now.
Harbor Springs
Harbor Springs really is one of those iconic harbor communities that people think of when they dream of vacationing in Michigan. It’s become a tradition for families across the Midwest to come back, have fun and relax there every year. And if you ask the people who live there, they’ll tell ya there’s no place they’d rather be.
The Legs Inn was a great way to top off our trip to Harbor Springs. It was a one-of-a-kind experience that even if you do it two and three times, it will still feel special. Michigan truly is a special place, and that’s why it’s the place I always return to.
