Lansing

Marine City
Marine City is a great little maritime community that’s located on the St. Clair River, halfway between Detroit and Port Huron. If you drive along Water Street, it does just that: takes you along the river. The street is dotted with beautiful little parks where you can sit, relax and watch the giant freighters pass by. There are also tons of interesting shops and great restaurants to discover. Also, if you’re into antiquing, Marine City has great treasures for you to discover.
We get emails all the time from people who want us to come visit their city, and that’s awesome. But when it came to Marine City, I think we got an email from every single person in town. One of the eleventy billion emails we got came from Scott Anderson. He wanted us to come to his town so bad, he offered to be our Sherpa guide for the day and show us around. Scott knew a great deal about Marine City and made sure we had a great time.
Well, Scott promised a great meal at the Marine City Fish Company and we had exactly that. He also made sure we had a blast discovering his home town.
