Wilderness State Park is one of those iconic parks that almost defines Michigan wilderness. It’s the natural world at its best, and it’s there for all of us to support and enjoy. The park is only ten miles west of Mackinaw City (almost in the shadows of the Mackinac Bridge) and offers great camping, hiking, beaches and even offers educational nature programs.
