Let me ask you something. Are you weird? Yep, me too. That’s why Weirdsville Records is the perfect place for people like us to hang out. Even if you’re not weird, you will be when you leave this place. It’s a wonderfully strange collection of vinyl records, books, art, toys, games and just plain cool, weird, retro stuff. I’m telling you, this place has everything a genuine weirdo like me could want. I even found The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Being a Good TV Show Host… bonus!
It’s all the doing of Dave and Lisa Taylor. They are Mt. Clemens favorite purveyors of the crazy cool. When Dave isn’t playing lead guitar in his intergalactic heavy metal surf band “The Amino Acids” (featuring loudness, Fender tube amps and reverb) he’s out in search of fun, funny and unusual items that you didn’t even know you wanted until you saw them. Lisa, on the other hand, specializes in finding and selling interesting and unusual books on all subjects. Together they make up the wonderful weirdness that is Weirdsville Records.
There’s more bizarre stuff and interesting eye candy crammed into this small store than you can possibly comprehend in one visit, so I suggest a few. If Dave doesn’t have what you’re looking for in the store, he’s probably got it in storage, at home, or he knows a guy who knows a guy. You should also know that Dave and Lisa are great people as well. Fun place!
