With all the things to see and do, you’re definitely going to want to spend a couple days there, and if you’re looking for a place to stay, we found a pretty unique one. Sea Suites is an actual floating “boat and breakfast” docked right there in the harbor, and it’s the only one of its kind in Michigan. Whether or not you feel at home on the water, innkeepers Sally Coder and Pete Morrison will definitely make sure you feel at home with them.
In 1998 Sally and Pete decided to move up north. When they couldn’t decide whether to buy a cottage or a boat, they did both. This incredible floating Boat and Breakfast was specially designed and built for them, and it’s got all the luxuries of a fine bed and breakfast. The rooms are super cool, the breakfasts super yummy and you couldn’t ask for better company than Sally and Pete. They’re genuinely special people who will help arrange all your fun or just let you relax and unwind.
So if you’re there, check out the Sea Suites. Or should I say check in, because when it comes to making sure you have a good time and a comfortable stay, this place will definitely float your boat!
