If the cottage life is more your style, you’ll want to stay at the Little Yellow Cottages.
This place is a Port Austin favorite. They’re five little cottages all in a row, located right downtown just a block from the beach and public park. You can rent just one or bring all your friends and family and rent them all. I’ve done that, and it’s a blast.
Each of the Little Yellow Cottages features a screened-in porch, a living room with a TV, a full kitchen and a private bath with a shower. They also come with both one and two bedrooms and can accommodate up to six guests. These cottages have all recently been redone and are very nice. Staying there totally reminded me of the fun family vacations we had as kids. I’ll be surprised if you don’t smile when you see them.
