In Leland, right down by the docks is an awesome place called Fish Town. It’s an authentic old fishing village with cool shops and great places to eat. This has always been one of my family’s favorite places to spend an afternoon. You can get everything from Michigan-made wines and cheeses to candy and clothing. But the coolest thing about Fish Town is that it’s not one of those fabricated, recreated tourist traps; it’s an authentic old fishing village that’s got enough history and atmosphere to take you way back into Michigan’s past. It’s a very unique place that attracts people from across the country.
