Eastern Market
I'm doing what thousands of other people do every week, enjoying one of the most authentic urban adventures in the entire United States. This six block public market isn’t just open in the summer, it’s alive year round with great places to eat, cool places to shop and, oh yea more than 250 vendors and merchants processing, wholesaling, and retailing, that’s right “food.” Every Saturday you’ll see people from all walks, walking the market in search of fruits, vegetables, flowers, homemade jams, maple syrups, locally produced specialty food products, and fresh meats...you name it, it's here. It’s a fascinating conglomeration of character, characters and crates and crates of fresh edibles.
