And, the coolest part for me was … when you walk in the front door … that’s right free guacamole & chips … I’m in heaven.

If you’re looking for cool things to do in Detroit … look no further … because Jeanette Pierce and the folks at Inside Detroit and The Downtown Welcome Center will totally hook you up. I thought a Segway tour of Detoit would be a great idea because I’ve always wanted to ride one of these things … and I’ve always wanted to learn more about the city. Boom! Both accomplished!

Detroit Film Theater at the DIA
The Name Detroit Film Theater is one of those names that in one way says exactly what this place is … “it’s a theater that shows films in Detroit” … but at the same time, the name doesn’t even begin to tell you what this place is really all about and what it means to the city of Detroit. If you’re looking for a classic film experience, that goes way beyond the mega, mall, movie madness … Just go to the east entrance of the Detroit Institute of Arts, and there you’ll find the The Detroit Film Theater.
