Episode 204: "Fishon!"

Muskegon / Flint

On this episode of Under The Radar Michigan, we start things off in the port city of Muskegon, at a restaurant that’s taken the term “homemade” to a whole new level. We’ll also board a real World War II submarine, and watch Tom muddle through his very first charter fishing trip … Then, we’re off to see how a very old building is helping put a brand new face on Flint. We’ll also show you how old meets new at a great place to eat, and experience a culture cluster … like no other.

Hoffman's Deco Deli
Hoffman’s Deco Deli Cafe is the creative conglomeration of Nick Hoffman and his two sons Mark and Heath. Upfront, it’s a first class, funky, artdeco deli … and in the back is an explosion of antiques, the likes of which I’ve never seem before. It’s crazy ... it’s weird … and it works!!!
