After looking into the UP’s copper cultivating past … we looked into our future for the evening and saw that after all this traveling, tasting and touring, we were destine for some fun in downtown Houghton.
You know … after a long day in the mines there’s nothing better than a trip to your favorite saloon for a cold beverage and some delicious pickled eggs … wait … what did I just say ??
I heard me right … I said Pickled eggs … and at The Douglas House Saloon they serve those, and a whole lot more. This is a place the locals love … and you’ll find folks from all walks here … So, to get a better handle on this pickled egg predicament, I plopped down in font of the one and only Bubba.
Now, is it The Dog House … Houghton itself … or these delectable little pickled prizes that keep people here?
