One walk through Colasanti’s Market and you’ll wish you lived right down the street. It’s old-world wonderful and goes way beyond just being a market. Ken Snook visited years ago as a butcher and loved the place so much, he bought it. His love for tradition and attention to detail has kept Colasanti’s near and dear to the hearts of all the people who have come to depend on this wonderful place. Not only does the market provide the residents with so much of what they need to enjoy life, it also creates a sense of place for this entire community.

Now, the only way to accurately describe Colasanti’s is to simply tell you what it is. Are you ready? It’s a wonderfully diverse, old-world gourmet market, a butcher shop, an artisan cheese shop, a garden shop, greenhouse, organic produce stand, a wild exotic parrot sanctuary, a culinary educational center, a zoo, a bakery, a wine shop, a flower shop, deli and gift shop. Heck, they even have a super cool antique train that travels around the store high above the merchandise and beautiful murals that illustrate the history of the market. It really is one of those unique places that you have to visit many times before you can take it all in, yet it’s still small, friendly and welcoming.

So whether you’re looking for something for your yard, your home, your head, your heart or your stomach, Colasanti’s Market will not disappoint. The only disappointment might be that you don’t live right down the street.
