They were Michigan’s first microbrewery and one of the oldest craft beers east of the Rockies… ring a bell? I thought so. If you guessed Bell’s Brewery in Kalamazoo, you probably already know that Michigan is one of the microbrew hotbeds in the entire USA. There are now more breweries here than wineries. And when it comes to Bell’s, they rang the bell for the first round here in Michigan.

Founder Larry Bell went from selling his first home brew in 1985 to now having his liquid gold available in pubs and stores nationwide. He did it the hard way… by using local ingredients, hiring local talent, taking his time and doing it right.

In 2011, Bell’s opened the Eccentric Café in Kalamazoo. It’s an awesome place to enjoy great food, an array of Bell’s best beers and live local music. And in the summer, the Bell’s beer garden out back is the place to kick back and enjoy your favorite Bell’s brew.

So if you enjoy the occasional frosty cold adult malted beverage… get yourself Oberon over to Bell’s and taste the beer that helped get us here… and where’s here? Who cares… you’re at Bell’s!
